This is a large flat gravel overflow parking lot within 2 miles of the Hoover dam. The property is owned by the Hoover dam lodge and casino on one side of the highway, with the gravel parking lot on the other side of the highway. Well it's not an actual campground, the lodge security advised that it was OK to stay in an RV overnight for one night. It's close to the highway, so there's noise from vehicles passing by, as well as about a dozen semi trucks were also here on my stay.

Just Called the Lodge the Lot is closed. They are putting in a gas station there

Large place across from the casino. Got good sleep and noone bothered us. Next to the casino there is the historic railroad hiking trail that leads to the Hoover Dam. You also can catch a beautiful view of lake Mead. The trail is over three miles just to get to Hoover Dam not counting the three miles you have to hike back so bring plenty of water. That desert heat is no joke. I had cell service great campsite.

Stayed here in a 20 foot-long Trailer (RV). KT would stay here again.

Thus place is AWESOME!! There is a paved parking lot across the Hoover Dam Lodge but we parked in the casino parking lot near the big red rock where the helicopter tours land near the back. Dog friendly area to walk your pups BUT BEWARE of RATTLESNAKES we saw 4 and almost stepped on 2! What can you expect for the desert tho? Is it a top class resort? No, but how can you complain when you're in need of a spot to stay so you can rest? The views are phenomenal. People were coming and going for the view beyond the fence but nothing annoying. Helicopters do fly over but NOT while you sleep. Awesome spot and ANY size rig can fit on either lot. No one bothered us.

Stayed there for a night in October 2017. We had our tent up behind our car and noone bothered us. The trucks leave their engines running though, so it's kind of noisy outside.

Stayed here with a passenger vehicle and a tent. Micha? Dominiak would stay here again.
